Love the machine , makes great espressos for lattes. And fits well in my already tight kitchen counter top

4 Stars because even with "worry free protection" the box arrived without any outer box protecting, ruining both the water container and my Christmas surprise for my husband. However, the customer service representative, Ruby, has been fantastic! She immediately ordered me a replacement water container so now we'd have a funtional machine. I had also ordered the capsule portafilter combo which has some weird black stuff ALL over it. She is currently helping us get a replacement/refund for that item. Overall, my husband is enjoying his Christmas gift thanks to the excellent customer service assistance!

I received this machine after purchasing directly from GEVI. The pressure gauge did not work from the get go. I contacted customer service right away inform them and document the issue. Customer service has been great so far. I was instructed to perform some troubleshooting (which did not work). I was then instructed to disable the machine, take pictures of it and discard the machine and they would send another new machine. Did what I was instructed to do and another machine was sent promptly. The box arrived damaged and was the incorrect model. Customer service was contacted immediately. I have not opened the box or unpacked the new machine. I’m a little discouraged now and quickly approaching the 30 day full refund deadline. I had also purchased a separate Capsule Portafilter Combo which I’m wondering if GEVI will also refund if I return the machine because it will be of no use to me. I’m sad because I’ve read many great reviews and experience from other customers and was really looking forward to enjoying this machine (GECME418EA-U).

I have to say that at first I had my doubts about whether this espresso machine would really make a good cup. That coupled with incorrect tracking info indicating that it wouldn’t be here for a month made me contact Gevi to cancel it. Unfortunately, they were unable to but the good news was that it arrived in 6 days. Lol.

Even afterwards i had my doubts but finally decided to keep it and I’m really glad a did. Does it pull shots like a 1k or even $500 espresso machine? No. But it does a perfectly fine job for my needs. It’s easy to use, the frothing wand works great and it pulls a tasty shot.

The real stars of this company is not the machine though, its the women in customer service who were quickly responsive to EVERY email I sent. They were nice- and so kind even though I probably drove them crazy. 😁

This coffee maker is outstanding! Highly recommend it.
Every morning I would go and waste my money on coffee.. now I can make a professional cup right at home. My coffee shots come out fluffy and creamy.. I froth my milk and dump it all together ❤️ ☕️ 😋. Im very happy with this coffee maker, and brand. It's quality is noticeable.

I received a GEVI Expresso Machine as a Christmas gift in 2025. After I setup the machine, there was a malfunction where water was leaking from the bottom of the water container. I contacted customer service and started the process of rectifying the issue. After a few emails, Ruby, the customer service agent, assisted me with what information I needed to provide for GEVI to process to receive a new machine. Being a new customer, I was skeptical if I would actually receive a new machine. Fortunately, I did receive a new machine within a few days that works perfectly.

Instructions could have been better to operate. Had some issues working it and you tubed it. You shouldn’t advertise the ability to use espresso bullets and then make people spend $30 plus shipping to get the right accessory that is not included. An improvement would be to be able to attach the tapper to the machine.

Awesome expresso machine! I've made a few expressos with it and they turn out barista level good! Highly recommend this machine!

Heavy, works like a dream and can use Nespresso capsules when I'm lazy. What more could one want?

So far so good, I got for a week is doing the job ,the extraction is good enough, great power, hope lasts forever, for my first espresso machine this is the right one,previous I had a tru 15 for a week and I had to return and ending with this small&powerfully 😀

I got this machine because Gevi was recommended by two people. Have had it for two weeks now and am very happy with it! Only "complaint" is that it gets too hot is make espresso if you use the steamer first

I love this machine. The priming/setup took just a little finagling (run water through the steaming wand a bit before trying to brew the first cup) and I still haven't gotten the hang of perfect foam, but my friend who owns the non-automatic frothing wand model says she wishes she bought this one instead. Very reasonably priced and for an amateur home barista it's just at my level.

It was difficult to throw my 16 year-old Breville in the trash. That great first brew from this little Gevi espresso maker made it less hard. I use small batch specialty coffee beans from Beanz and Blackout Coffee. The crema and complex taste of this brew is exceptional. The volume for double espresso seems long but tastes just fine. I will tinker with the output. I fully recommend this machine with its small footprint for any size kitchen.

I have only had the machine for a short time and their is a learning curve compared to what I had been using. This is my first, true espresso machine so I need to adjust to the quantity it produces. The frother is beyond great!

Simple to use, the espresso it produces is very much to my liking. Two minor issues. I have to put a paper towel on the drip tray to keep my Demitasses from vibrating out of position, and removing the filter from the portafilter can be difficult. I tossed the plastic tamper for a 49mm metal one (just preference). Overall it's a nice machine and I would buy it again
Note: I drink straight espresso so I really have no use for the steamer unless a guest would like a cappuccino so I really can't at this point comment on its function.

I purchased the Compact Espresso Coffee Machine with Milk Steam Wand GECME418EA-U. I’m always a little intimidated by these. My previous was a fully automatic espresso machine and I find this Gevi is so much more convenient and less complicated believe it or not. The price itself is a great value. As get more experience I’m gaining more insights of accessories, quality of the coffee beans that allows me to adjust to my preferred tastes. I’m very pleased with my Gevi.

This coffee machine meets my needs for making coffee at home. It would be better if the water tank capacity was larger. I currently give it 4 stars.
