GEVI Espresso and Cappuccino Maker with Milk Frother and Steam Wand ECME0

I purchased this Gevi machine 2 yrs ago & love it.. I’ve tried a few others comparable but once you get the grind right & adjust water flow this one makes the best espresso w a rich layer of crema on top. I call it coffee perfection. Steam wand works well for great coffee drinks & honestly, using their same coffee, syrups, milk & creamers as barista shops I can’t tell the difference. If you want a home espresso machine this is the one to try.

This is an excellent espresso machine for what it costs. The machine itself is beautifully crafted and taking very little place. It extracts the full aroma of the espresso powder, giving a tasty and flavorful experience. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes coffee. It is also easy to use and clean.

Never had an Expresso coffee machine. I like it, it was easy to set up and it is simple to operate. deliver excellent coffee (also it depends on your coffee brand). It makes a bit of noise, which could be normal for that kind of maker. I have only one problem (it could be my only) - the label to remove the single or double shot from the holder is so unclear, and not labeled well to match to removed when you clean to feed with coffee. I could be way better and say to see it (especially if you're a senior as I am). Overal, I like it and I recommend it to all other customers when doing their homework which one to select. Good luck.

Purchased in April 2024, it is now mid-August 2024 & I'm VERY impressed with this budget espresso machine! Our family of 4 uses it daily and it's only gotten better over time. Very quality pulls for what it is, I can hardly tell the difference from local coffee shops & my Gevi.
I only wish Gevi sold a bottomless portafilter for this bad boy! All of the other brands I've tried don't fit the grooves of the Gevi.

That portafilter did not turned all the way. I returned the first one and the order the second one. Otherwise everything is great. The appearance is gorgeous. The speed is okay.

Coffee machine is used every morning and never fails to turn out a great cuppa Joe !
Hardly ever malfunctions.

espresso tastes great with good crema, i can't tho make a good foam on the milk. i used to work at a coffee shop so know what i'm doing. i've tried the steam wand with and without the 'foamer' attachment. also i've tried steaming before and after i make the espresso but that doesn't seem to help. for steamed milk it's fine but for good fluffy foam for a cappuccino for example i have not been successful.

This espresso maker makes a consistently great espresso EVERY time! Fantastic. You just have to follow directions exactly. LOVE IT!!

I just used it for the first time and I love it. My latte tastes smoother than my old $30 machine and I didn't have to measure out the water. I love that it uses the right amount for 2 shots and that the milk steamer was ready immediately. Definitely worth the money if coffee shops just aren't perfect. Not too loud either.

Im a beginner and with this machine I manage to make consistently good espresso. I use fresh grind beans and the coffee tastes great.
The machine is compact which I like, as my kitchen is small.
Ive been using it daily for over a month and had have no problems. I found it a good value for the money.

Nice addition to my counter and can skip a few trips to the coffee shop. My husband is the espresso connoisseur and says it's almost as good as Starbucks. During the winter I made some hot caramel drinks with it.

We've had this espresso machine for about four months and it has worked well. We mostly use it to foam milk which it does very well but it also makes espresso which tastes great. I'm not an experienced barista and this machine still makes taste espresso. For a novice who enjoys good espresso I'd recommend this machine.

Wow. This is a great machine.
It makes 1 or 2 shot lattes or espressos.
Add water. Add coffee. Insert handle.
Turn on. Turn to espresso. Push button. Clean.
Very nice. It tasted great.

It is very narrow, which is great.
Parafilter sizes are easy to change and clean.

I like this as much as my grinding coffee maker by the same maker.

So not sure how it compares to other, stronger machines as this was my first foray into espresso but I am so happy with it. Looks chic and fits nicely into my tiny coffee corner in my kitchen, easy to use and the coffee is strong that I usually only use the 1 cup size. I love the detachable water reservoir for easy filling. I am so glad i bought this and would recommend.

I purchased the Gevi Espresso Machine a few months ago after almost a year of researching. I wanted quality and reliability without paying too much. Wow! I made a great decision. I just love this machine!!! It's easy to use. It's easy to keep clean. It looks great. And most importantly, it produces an excellent cappuccino and espresso! I especially love the simplicity of the automatic one shot / 2 shot buttons with the option of also being able to do it manually with the manual button. I did have one small issue with the machine after a few months' use, but Gevi's exceptional customer service came through with flying colors! That's the reason why I am taking the time to write this review. I was so impressed with how quickly they responded and how quickly they resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction. This is a company that truly stands behind their products. If you are not able to purchase this machine on sale, don't worry - it's worth the full price.

This is such a great espresso machine! For its price you simply cannot beat it! Its very simple easy to clean and does NOT disappoint! I recommend everyone who is looking for something simple and actually does the job to try this out! Its not loud, easy to use and is great!

A few weeks ago, I gave my 10-year-old espresso machine to a friend who never had one, and for my 77th birthday bought this Gevi for myself. It took me three days to read and absorb the very articulate instruction booklet, but once I had done that, I made myself my first espresso with the machine. The result was the best espresso Ive ever had in my home, maybe anywhere, actually. Smooth flavor, easy cleanup. Im happier than I expected!

Great little espresso machine for the price!

This little espresso machine makes a great cappuccino. The frother works extremely well. Makes a very hot coffee and is easy to use. The down side is that it is made with cheap components. The coffee tamper is cheap plastic. The device used to connect the coffee to the machine is a flimsy metal. A tray attaches again feeling like it is going to fall apart. While the various parts arent as substantial as the parts on my breville, this little inexpensive machine makes a world class cup of cappuccino.

I have a gevi espresso machine it's working perfect with different coffees but the better coffee it's segafredo coffee for Gavi machines

I was disappointed when I opened this. It is all fairly light weight plastic. I didnt keep it long enough to see if it made good coffee, but I have the big Gevi that has the grinder on top and it makes excellent coffee. We wanted this for our camper but I dont think it is strong enough to travel.

Easy to use. Great quality. I got it on sale so great value.

Have enjoyed a few dozen cups of espresso from this machine and it is wonderful.

FYI if the back of the tank leaks on yours it means the plunger sping on bottom of tank is slightly off course and pressing the spring loaded plunger in and out a few times re-aligns the plunger and it won't leak.

I want to say that this little guy delivers! Great coffee, just an ok steamer. I would knock one star off for the mess thats made every time and it is a little loud but for this price you cant beat it! Otherwise my staff and I just love it! I recommend just buying an extra steamer/frother separately. I had bought a cheap brevile and it was just as bitter as an expressive one. This one has its hot water about 3+ degrees cooler so you get the flavor of the coffee without all the bitterness.
