I've had the unit for a few weeks and so far I'm impressed at how well the machine works. The features work as described, it heats up fast, brews a good shot with some tweaks. I'm still dialing the dose, grind, time, etc. Great easy to use unit for an intro to espresso and really outstanding price point.

This machine makes it easy to make good espresso. Seems to be of good quality have used for a few months no problems.

This is a good value single boiler espresso machine. It appears to be very solid and nicely finished in stainless. The water reservoir is big and is easy to lift out to refill. Once you turn it on, there's a short warm up period. After turning the machine on, I grind my coffee, tamp the coffee into the portafilter and lock the portafilter into the group head. By that time the machine is already warmed up. Select 1 or 2 cups, and the machine does the rest. Pulls great shots. The steam function works fairly well, and makes a nice milk foam in the included milk jug. The steam wand is movable. You need to direct the wand over the drip tray to get all the water out first before starting to foam your milk. All in all, well worth the money.

So far I am pleased and impressed for a low budget machine.
At first, I thought I was having some issues, but I found out I just wasn't programming it properly.
The customer service is amazing! They respond promptly and want to make sure you are satisfied.

Easy to use

It has been years since I was looking for an espresso machine.
I was introduced to a popular machine through a friend.
It produced an excellent espresso.... so I wanted one but too pricey for me and it uses a 54mm portafilter.

Enter the Gevi Ezbru 1000.

Could not be happier.

It checked all the boxes for me:

Straight out of the box, it produced excellent expresso.
Very straightforward operation.
Fantastic espresso (did I say that already?)

Minimal wait time for the machine to warm up (maybe 1 min)
Puts a smile on my face each time I drink my espresso/latte.

Notes:
- I got a better tamper since the one that came with the machine is lacking.
- a dosing cup; to make life easier for me
- metal puck screen; to get consistency plus my used espresso pucks end up dry
- You will need a grinder that can grind for espresso

All and all I highly recommend this machine.

I am a long-time Breville user, and I recently gave my Breville machine to my brother. He wanted a machine with a built-in grinder to save countertop space in his kitchen. So, I ordered the beautiful Gevi EZBru 1000 from Amazon. It arrived very quickly and in very nice packaging.

Inside the triple box packaging, I received the espresso machine, an aluminum 58mm double spout three-ear portafilter with a plastic handle, a milk frother, two sets of pressurized baskets (single and double), two sets of non-pressurized baskets (single and double), a nicely weighted plastic tamper, a coffee scoop, and a user manual. The exterior shell of the machine is a mix of metal and plastic, with a special coating that helps prevent it from becoming a fingerprint magnet. Unfortunately, because of this coating, magnetic tools like WDT tools or portafilter hangers dont stick to the side or front of the machine.

The drip tray is very large and super easy to clean. I recommend emptying and cleaning the drip tray at the end of each day. This machine has everything I was looking for in an espresso machine at this price range. It comes with a 58mm group head, a PID, and pre-infusion. These features are essential for any modern espresso machine.

I do wish the machine had a three-way solenoid valve, but I can live without it. The Gevi EZBru 1000 has only a power button (with auto power-off after 15 minutes of inactivity) and a rotary dial to select between single shot, double shot, steam, and hot water. You can also program the single and double shot timers to your liking. The machine warms up quicklynot as fast as my Breville, but fast enough for me. The steam wand has a purge function, which works great, and I can steam milk to a frothy consistency with excellent results.

Like with every espresso machine, regardless of price or brand, you need to practice and go through a bag of freshly roasted beans to dial it in to your liking. If you dont get a good outcome at first, just keep trying until you develop your own workflow with the machine. I paired this machine with an excellent grinder, which helped me make amazing drinks for the whole household.

All in all, this is an excellent budget machine for home baristas, and I highly recommend it.

Makes delicious espresso. It is super easy to use thanks to the pre-set dial. It also steams milk with ease. AND it looks great on my counter. I feel like a real grown up with this machine in my house!

I've never used an espresso machine before this one is easy to use a simple dial that is pretty self-explanatory makes a good hot frothy espresso with a year warranty which is reassuring and tech support as needed. Pretty happy with this machine.

The Gevi EzBru 1000 Espresso Machine has a few issues, but the price is fairly good for this mid-range model. It's an attractive espresso machine, with a stainless steel housing. It isn't a huge appliance and fits on my kitchen counter nicely. It takes up about the same amount of space as my coffee maker.

My daughter was a barista for years, and I asked her to help me test this espresso machine. She did make me a fairly decent latte, but before she handed it to me, I heard her mutter several unkind things about this espresso maker. First of all: this machine is slow. It is slow to heat up, and each component is kind of lazy. The frothing wand likes to keep you waiting around while it heats up. For all that, the milk froth it produced was decidedly lukewarm. My daughter told me I need a thermometer to keep track of the temperature , so that I can tell when the milk is very hot and foamy. The wand can also be used to express hot water for tea or hot chocolate.

The flavor of the drink was very good despite being lukewarm. I think that this espresso maker has a learning curve. Since my daughter is an experienced barista, some of the problems might be that the machine might be different from the machines she has previously worked with. While this one may be a bit simpler, it still has some unfamiliar elements.

I like this espresso maker. It does have some quirks, but these are not insurmountable. For the price, this espresso maker is decent. It makes reasonably good coffee, and good foam (but not incredibly hot foam). It takes a LONG time to heat up, which is the most egregious crime it commits. The frothing wand drips water instead of steam for a few seconds and then kicks out steam after another few long seconds.

Decent coffee. The foam is thick, but you need to wait for it. Whether you like this espresso maker really depends on what you want it for. Because it is a bit fussy, some people might want something simpler; other people may like the ability to use the frothing wand for hot water, and the ease with which they can whip up two espressos. It all depends on your needs.

We love coffee in my house so I thought this would be a perfect addition to the household, and it is. I just got it but I was so excited that I opened it, cleaned it and used it immediately. The machine is extremely sleek and high quality, with stainless steel finish, very well made. It comes with absolutely everything you would need, besides the cups. Comes with portafilter, filter baskets, tamper, spoon for coffee, Instruction Manual, and milk pitcher. The instruction manual is easy to understand and useful, as it tells you how to clean the machine upon receiving to ensure optimal functioning. It is very easy to use, literally just add water, select how many cups you want, add coffee, tamper, insert, and start using. You could also get hot water or steam. It is like a professional at-home mini espresso machine. Not too big, not too small, I do believe it is perfect. Love it very much and would definitely recommend
