GEVI Programmable 10-Cup Grind & Brew Coffee Maker Machine with Built-in Grinder DCMB0

After extensive research we settled on the Gevi and it’s been a good investment. We use the Program feature with preground coffee every weekday morning, then use the grinder on weekends. It’s wonderful to have coffee ready when we roll out of bed! Wish the grinder could be accessed for cleaning but the design seems to prevent a lot of buildup. Regular cleaning of the water tank with vinegar has prevented issues from our hard water, it does sometimes slobber when filled but turns out that results from impatience on our part (either pour slower or lift the carafe lid so water isn’t backed up at the spout). And no parts have broken or malfunctioned until now. At about 3 years of age, it’s developed a glitch where shutting off the hotplate either manually or via the timer causes all displays to blink, then we must unplug, plug back in and reprogram before we can brew or grind again. We did not buy the extended warranty so knew it was no longer covered and suspected this was unfixable, but I contacted Support anyhow. No, they don’t sell control panel components but did offer a discount if we want to buy a replacement machine. Realistically I see 3 years as a pretty good run for any item with electronics so I think Gevi is still a sound choice. I’d love to buy once and not replace ever again, but that would likely mean returning to a stovetop percolator, no thanks! I’ll be taking advantage of that discount with the extended warranty this time.

I enjoy hosting people to talk and they compliment this coffee every time. Makes my favorite part of the day better. It’s a great product, easy to use, and customer service was quick and helpful the one time I had an issue.

Are you tired of the whole pod thing? Well I was in that camp too. I ran across this not knowing that I needed one. I ordered it and within a week it was here waiting on me to unwrap all its glory. Being male, I didn't read the directions too well and wondered why the coffee was just marginal. Well, 5 minutes worth of ' Before you begin' I realized I had missed some very necessary information. After I read the directions fully (under my school teachers wife looking on) I come to the conclusion that directions are indeed an integral part of setting this gem dandy of a machine up. If you love fresh ground coffee then THIS is your machine. It's very attractive and worth every penny. The smell in my house while the machine does it thing is the best part of getting up (see what I did there). All kidding aside, you will not go wrong buying this brand of all in one coffee maker. We may just wear this thing out as much as we use it. You can spend more but I assure you more doesn't mean better.

We recently retired about two years ago and it finally dawned on us that we didn't need to use our Keurig and the little pods every single day as we now mostly lingere and are able to sip coffee together in the morning. We decided to invest and gift ourselves a nice coffee maker that grinds the coffee so that we can have a small to medium pot brewing in the morning and we can sip at Leisure. That's when Gevi came into our lives and I started investigating. Took the plunge and got the 10 pot Chevy coffee maker with grinder. Every morning we get to enjoy our fresh brewed cup of coffee together. The Gevi is easy to operate and the cup of coffee is so delicious. We definitely made the right choice, went straight through Gevi to place the order and the price was beyond fair. We are very happy with our purchase!

We love our coffee machine, being able to program it, and waking up to the smell of coffee. We have been looking for a machine that grinds whole beans and brews coffee, and this is it. Unfortunately, we had a mechanical problem with our coffee grinder. I contacted customer service, and I must say, I'm impressed by the customer service that Christina and her team provided. It will be less than a week before I have a new machine. Thank you very much, Christina and team.

I've had this for about 6 months now and it makes great choice every single time. It checks all the boxes. It's easy to use, versatile, robust, and relatively inexpensive. 100% recommend

I love everything about my new grind and brew!
It makes a great cup of coffee, is easy to use and clean, and the best part is the programmable features to make my coffee when I want it ready in the morning to wake up to the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee is the greatest. Also like that you can program when you want the machine to shut down and how it beeps to let you know when the coffee’s ready and also when it is turning off.
The bean hopper holds enough to brew a few pots depending on how much you use. Mostly I like my coffee Hot and this machine produces, I learned to brew the coffee ahead and let it sit on the warming plate a few minutes, also warming my creamer & cup in the microwave helped me achieve a hot cup
Getting started was easy. The only issue I had was figuring out how to set the time, I’m a bit impatient with reading instructions so I probably overlook this and it was simply holding down the hour and minute buttons..

I like everything about the Gevi 10 cup, as far as coffee goes. I have reviewed the video that displays using a brush, from below, to clean the grinder. Unfortunately, the video does NOT show how to slide open the little door to the grinder for brushing?
Maybe it's available somewhere? Please let me know.

This GEVI coffee maker with an integrated bean grinder consistently makes excellent coffee. Very easy to use, and it's been working perfectly for several months. It includes many features to customize the flavor to personal preferences including a "bloom" option that pre-wets the grounds with heated water for a richer flavor profile. We also appreciate the configurable auto-off feature for increased peace of mind which also reduces the risk of turning any residual coffee in the pot into a baked-on mess thus avoiding a real cleaning chore. We had a minor issue which Customer Service is to address. They've been very responsive to date and I will update this review appropriately once resolved.

Works well, somewhat noisy but tolerable.

Good maker, we like it. We didn't receive a manual- One comment, there are two (2) lights will flash together, the PROGRAM and ON/OFF. The only way to resolve is to unplug the machine. What causes the lights to flash?

My wife just made another pot of coffee tonight. She loves this new coffee maker.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this coffee maker. This brand had overall good reviews for a grind and brew and was at a great price point. the instructions for use were very helpful. I haven't tried to brew without grinding because the taste is SO good with the grind and brew. The difference in coffee quality is definitely noticeable and I'm nothing but impressed so far.

Super happy with the GEVI Programmable 10-cup Grind & Brew. The coarseness adjustability combined with the strength control help me dial in the brew for my specific beans. It's pretty quiet and easy to clean up.

I absolutely love the ease of use, and the coffee taste this machine brews. I have already recommended this coffee maker to friends and relatives.

Grind and brew works very well, and is quieter and easier to clean than my last one. The warming tray doesn’t “cook” the coffee. Programming is straightforward. I haven’t varied the strength or grind size, but could.

Minor nits: the water tank is filled from a narrow opening in the back; the reusable filter fabric feels thin, we’ll see how long it lasts; not a svelte machine, lol.

I love the coffee maker - the only problem is it's hard to figure out the settings. The instructions were not very clear - especially the explanation for how to program the coffee maker to automatically start in the AM.
